New Cloud Control Center updates for 16.1.0

This release includes various bug fixes, updates to the UI, updates to the API, and several new and improved features detailed below.

IdentityGraph

Microsoft Defender IdentityGraph Connector
Elisity is pleased to announce its new integration with Microsoft Defender, utilizing a secure API connection to enrich device attributes in IdentityGraph. This integration allows verification of device existence in Microsoft Defender's database before policy group assignment in Elisity, enhancing cybersecurity measures. The collaboration enables more precise policy crafting by leveraging enriched data, including details such as device model, serial number, and operating system. For detailed information, please refer to the Connect Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Defender Classification Details articles.

Connector Edit
You can now edit connector settings (API Key etc) after the connector has been deployed. This is an improvement over previous behavior where the connector had to be deleted and re-created to change connector settings.

CrowdStrike Tag Support
You can now view CrowdStrike tags in IdentityGraph as well as match on them when defining Policy Group match criteria. To learn more, read the Connect CrowdStrike and CrowdStrike Classification Details articles.

Medigate SSID Support
You can now view Medigate SSID in IdentityGraph as well as match on it when defining Policy Group match criteria. To learn more, read the Connect Medigate and Medigate Classification Details articles.

Medigate Domain Name Support
You can now view Medigate Domain Name in IdentityGraph as well as match on it when defining Policy Group match criteria. To learn more, read the Connect Medigate and Medigate Classification Details articles.

Policy

Policy Matrix Cell Enhancements
A new color, blue, has been added to the Policy Matrix. GREEN cells indicate an "Allow All" policy, RED cells indicate a "Deny All" policy, and BLUE cells (previously yellow) indicate a custom policy. Also, simulated policies are now represented by a black dot on the cell (previously an asterisk). To learn more, read the Policy Matrix article.

Policy Group Duplication
Policy Groups can now be duplicated. This feature allows you to create a copy of an existing Policy Group. When duplicating, the Create button will remain greyed out until the Policy Group name is changed, as the platform requires each Policy Group to have a unique name. This is particularly useful for quickly setting up new groups that share similar configurations with an existing one but need to be distinguished for different purposes. To learn more, read the Policy Groups article.

Distribution-Zone Asset Count
You can now easily track when Distribution Zones are approaching possible limitations by viewing Device Counts in the Distribution Zone tab in Virtual Edge Settings. To learn more, read the Distribution Zones article.

Multiple 'AND' rules for Trust Attributes
You can now use and combine multiple 'AND' rules with defining Trust Attribute Policy Group match criteria. To learn more, read the Policy Groups article.

Analytics

New Traffic Flow Details Pane
The Traffic Flow Details Pane on the Policy Matrix has been completely revamped to show more details such as policy action and now includes new filtering options. To learn more, read the Visibility and Traffic Analytics

General UI

Support for Saving Policy Matrix Filters
Policy Matrix Filters can now be saved and loaded. To learn more, read the Policy Matrix article.

Connector View Filtering
Quickly view and filter which devices have enriched data in IdentityGraph on the devices page. Export filtered device pages by "Known In" Connector attributes that can be used to generate reports and improve device classification accuracy.

Virtual Edge

Virtual Edge Groups
Cloud Control Center version 16.1.0 brings a new feature for the management of Policy Infrastructure, Virtual Edge Groups. Virtual Edge (VE) Groups are an innovative feature designed to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and simplicity of managing Virtual Edges in enterprise environments. By organizing VEs into groups managed as a single unit, VE Groups offer significant benefits in manageability and redundancy in the event of a Virtual Edge outage. To learn more, read the Virtual Edge Groups article.

Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controller Support

Elisity now supports the onboarding of a Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controller as a Virtual Edge Node (VEN) for policy enforcement. To learn more, read the Onboarding Catalyst 9800 Wireless Controller article.
